They were very protective, once the thing stopped they slapped a big spinner over it. He saw me pointing a camera that way waiting for it to spin down and turned so he was blocking me to put the spinner on.

Of course, when its spinning slow 1600/sec shutter speed it may as well been stopped :D

Someone probably has it on video. I think the attendees should police a little more. That's kind of the way most clubs work. At my club there is an honor system but if there is a Richard Cranium in the mix and a safety officer isn't around that day, whoever is there has to say something at the time. I am not sure if people have to wear name tags on the flightline or not but someone should have complained on the spot. I agree with Terryscustoms that it has to be stomped out and confronting that person on the spot and forcing them to land may save someone from getting injured. As far as the fire, that is destruction of property and is a crime.

I found out that the plane had damage from earlier in the day and that they let a HIGH PROFILE idiot of a pilot try to tear the wings off. He was repeatedly diving straight down at full power and then yanking hard on the stick to try to break off the wings. He DID break a horizontal stab off then took it high up over the crowd and power knife edge into the ground! The picture speaks for its self! The People at Joe Nall know of the incident and will be investigating it. Once the person is identified, they will be barred from Joe Nall for life. If it was a sponsored pilot, their sponsorship will be removed. I hope that anyone with information will come forward and notify the AMA and the directors of Joe Nall. We as a group of people will not tolerate the irresponsibility of people that give our hobby a bad name.

As to the fire that was started at the 3D line, the local police know who the individuals are. Whether they place charges of arson against them will be their decision.

I wish that the person and or persons responsible for last nights events will step forward before the AMA and Triple Tree Aerodrome find the individuals.
