Rolling circle: I bought a Falcon 29/13 3 blade to use on my GP176 EVO on Proflows. It was a bit too much load in my opinion. On pipes it would be great. For sale cheap if you want it hehe.

Knife edge: I'm using a Biela 26/10 3 blade on my GP123 and I really like it. Works good for IMAC and freestyle flying. Lots of power and good braking.
Cool..thank you!

Anybody want to start an Excel spread sheet and maybe there will be some GSN swag heading your way?
:D:D

ANYONE?!
Sleepy I'd be happy to start one if you like. No worry about hosting it as i can run it through google docs. Form style with filterable back end for review

Does anyome mind if i strip the data from the forum to start it?

Thanks YakPilot! I thought so... Appreciate the help.

Sounds like Lojik might have a new part time job ... awesome. If it happens, it would be a nice achievement and a great feature for GSN!

Ironically i was going to do this last year but didnt have enought people to beta test and supply data. Will get the base databae down and if it works out well ill look at hosting it seperate to google so we can mod it further like adding pictures and further filters and options

I've started the database, for the rating section what variables do you believe would suit a 1 to 10 rating scale on prop/engine combinations;

for example I have got the below, do you think we should add any variables or take any away?

Build Quality
Noise
Value
Idle Performance
Transition Performance
Upline/Hover Performance
Overall Rating

I see there are a lot of Falcon fans here. I have a lot of props for my various engine setups because for what I want out of a prop, most of this data is not useful. We have noise issues at a lot of fields up here and even though a Falcon 25x8W on my DA-70 might be a good performer, it is way too loud in the air. Vess props are usually out right away, even though they too are good performers.

The motor I have the most props and effort on is the DA-120. I have had it on cans, RE2, and now ES pipes. Each combo likes different props. Most of you don't try this many props, and most of these were bought for the noise requirement as this has gone on for 4 seasons now.

Falcon 27x11, 29x9, 29x9W
Biela 29x10, 27x10x3
Vess 28B stealth
Mejzlik 28x12, 28x10evo, 29x10evo, 29x10s, 27x12TH, 27x12THx3, 26x10THx3, 26x12Nx3

At the moment I like the 27x11 because it is a good combo and it spools very fast. For IMAC I like the 29x10evo for what I do, but the 28x12 is actually the better prop in the more advanced classes. 3 blade I like the 27x12TH, but my IMAC friend likes the 26x12N.

The Falcon 29" props rip a lot and the evo is a much quieter prop.

Some good info there Enterprise. Just got a 27 x 11 and, based on what you said about spool up and what all our other friends said, it should be fun. At first ran a 29 x 10 Mej (if anybody wants one let me know) and then went to the 28 x 10 Mej which was better. The 27 x 11 should be best. Hopefully it can sneak by sound-wise in a couple IMAC Freestyles a little further south.
