Some of the earlier 3W engines, for whatever reason, would break the c-clips that hold the piston pins in place. If you were lucky, the piece would just go out the exhaust, but most of the time it would tear up the cylinder because the metal they are made of is much harder than the cylinders and pistons. Normally you would only lose one cylinder, BUT I was one of the "lucky" ones and somehow it traveled to the other side and took out the bottom of the cylinder.

Turns out Gerhard had a couple of CS piston/cylinder pairs that were used and he gave me a great deal on them, so I will have a 106 CS by the end of today

The funny thing is one of the cylinders is from a QS and one is from a CS, so I will have apples and oranges under the hood. The QS is Candy Red and the CS is Candy Orange in color, hence apples and oranges.

Finished up my fuel jug setup last night. Just a cheapo turnigy electric pump to try out. Runs great on a 2S lipo. Tried it out and takes about 25-30 seconds to fill up the 500ml Fiji fuel tank in my cap.

Is it just me (probably) or does it give you the heebie-jeebies to see a LiPo strapped to a jug of gasoline?

Nice to know I'm not the only one. And it isn't just that it's a LiPo. It just seems wrong to have a battery on a fuel jug. Of course when your filling a 50oz tank that electric pump seems really right.

LOL guys would it make you feel better if I took the lipo off and strapped a LiFe pack or nicad on there
