Time for a new brand/stuck on two

Little bit. I do have my rudder servo in the tail and a J&J tailwheel. I had to add about 1oz to the firewall. Not much at all, but thought I would mention it.

Time for a new brand/stuck on two

I tried a pipe on my 91" EF Extra. It was too tail heavy so I took it off. I also added a little nose weight to get it to balance.

Time for a new brand/stuck on two

The PAU Edge or Extra would be a great match to that engine also. The 88" EF Edge would be also.

Time for a new brand/stuck on two

Good choices on the 2 brands you are considering. I have the EF91" Extra with a GP61 and love it. It is the plane in my avatar. I think there is plenty of power with the 61. The DA60 should be right on par for power. Some people say that it needs more, but I am happy with mine. As far as...

Tail Wheel Steering, Springs vs Fuel Tubing or other setups

Thanks.... I appreciate the comment. I can tell you right from the git go, it is already (from what I have noticed) so much more accurate and positive than any setup I have "FOUGHT" with. I tired it a little while ago with the weight of the stabs on and rolled the plane across the floor. As from...

    Secraft Wire Tensioners

+1 The coated cable is awesome also. I think he has a kit with all of the items needed to do a pull pull setup.

    Rudder servo arm

In the past I have also put 1 of the ends on the bottom of the arm and 1 on top. That way if they are crossed, they don't rub together.

    Rudder servo arm

The easiest way I have found is to remove the servo arm and put the nuts on, then just put the arm back on and you are good to go.

Tail Wheel Steering, Springs vs Fuel Tubing or other setups

The only thing I might have done differently is put the zip tie that goes through the arm on the rudder up through the bottom of the hole instead of down through the top of the hole.

    Secraft Wire Tensioners

Those things are awesome. They make setup a breeze. I will never do a pull-pull setup without them.

Awesome pic. Looks like horns going over the front of the wings.

That is awesome. The interior is quite an upgrade over a regular cub.

Viper #1 is ready to go.

All the credit needs to go to @terryscustom . I was just fortunate enough to be able to buy this one from him. Can't thank him enough for the new wings also.

This is my beater plane, so it has seen better days. That is why I tried this before ordering a new set of gear.
