Here you go! Lot of bracing in there, looks like a 20 season plane like the Aeroworks Yak55m:

Cool, cool. Hey Spats, since you go push/pull on the rudder do you dremel out the rudder tray? I was thinking about doing that. :sneaky:

SoCAL GS Dude's, do you want an event this January?

Been toying with the idea of putting on a GS (3D and IMAC clinic) event in January in SoCal. I have a slot with the club. I don't know many of the gang down here, and/or who would want to come from wherever. If there is enough interest I'll put it on. Last one I did we had a friendly freestyle...

Today's the day. haha I've been busy stripping down the Yak airframe to sell, and I stripped down the Sukhoi airframe to sell, too. Yak is sold, but The Suk airframe is going up for sale, local pickup. The plan for this afternoon is pictures and the goal is wings ready to fly. And, hopefully...

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

I always wanted to build a bigger rudder for my 122" H9 Sukhoi, I won't be needing to do that with the 122" Pilot Extra.

Assembly: Aeroworks QB 150cc Yak 55M

The first one was especially amazing. I had only been flying about 2 years, mostly Carden's. I really wasn't ready for that plane. I would have liked to have flown that same one right when I quit in 2007. I was flying my best right when I quit. haha

Thanks!... but not everyone is as easy going as you, I had a guy in Dubai super p'st because I wouldn't sell him my blue Votec for 12k. :O haha I sold it local and got to fly it for the next couple years. :) Eventually it was sold again to a guy in Texas, I think. I miss that engine, though, me...

He's a fun guy, says he's never had a plane bigger than 100cc class. Says he saw the plane and said to himself, "go big, or go home!" haha

AbsoFnlootly! haha Hopefully tomorrow. I spent the afternoon taking my Hitec BL servos out of the Yak, so I can put them in the Extra. Hitec still does not have stock, nor an ETA, on the BL servos.

Sold this airframe today to make room for more airframes. :) I had been talking to a giantscalenews.com member about crating and shipping it to him. Then a local flyer wanted it and showed up with cash. I was in a pickle. I called the GSN member and he let me off the hook. Good guy, I would have...

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Yes, they are! One of these days I'm going to try some. I have tried the tailwheel though and thought it was nice. :)

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Okay, I will go push/pull on the rudder in the tail, with four elevator servos in the tail... that might do it! That's six extensions running back there, too... that's some weight. :) So, you never tried the DA-170 on tune pipes on this model? I'm hoping it will be enough since you know who...
