Hauling Your Plane in a Pickup... Best Ideas? Post them here!

Never been much of an Ultimate fan. More inclined to have warm fuzzies for a good looking "Pitts". But..... This has got to be one of the prettiest schemes on an Ultimate I have ever seen. I think a scheme can really either "make" or "break" the looks of an airframe. Looks very nice Bob.:way_to_go:

Hauling Your Plane in a Pickup... Best Ideas? Post them here!

I used to transport my 260 the same way Mike does with his Sukhoi and Edge. Except I had a camper shell on my truck that protected the main fuse. I also padded the spinner and rolled the fuse in nose first. Then using a tie down, I went behind the landing gear to keep it from rolling. My tail...

Dang, look at you go. Gonna give Terry a run for his money huh? Looking really amazing. I really don't care for the design of the GEE BEE, but you have brought a whole new appreciation for me to this type of an airframe. Unique, original and really done up nicely. Really looking forward to...

    Help moving an airplane

As with everyone's suggestions, they are awesome. I did use Greyhound many years ago. I shipped a number of planes and all arrived unscathed. One in particular, the gentleman said it arrived in better condition than when it left. LOL....guess he was really happy. I could look into it once again...

From the beginning. How did you start flying RC?

I had to chuckle with this. As most everyone entering this hobby has dreamt of, A P51 Mustang is usually top priority on the hit list for the very first air frame. Doah..... If only someone would make it clear, Mustangs and Heli's are just not the wisest first time selection. LOL.... Not at your...
