GP 33% Extra 330L for IMAC?

I used one years ago up to advanced and some unlimited with a ZDZ80RV on a JMB canister and a 2B Mejzlik 26x10. It had enough power to do anything back then (newer sequences are more power hungry IMO). It flew quite well for a relatively small budget. I did enlarge the rudder and moved the...

    Differential elevators for 3D?

Yes I did this years back. The roll rate was not better and it made my plane not roll axially anymore so my mixing needed adjustments. I decided it was more trouble than benefit so I discaded to mix.

    H9/Carden or PAU Extra

Now that you mention it yes my friend needed some help about these elevator servo pockets. I suppose I got you wrong LOL. What I really wanted to say is its really a good plane even for 3D but of course the flying surfaces are quite small so it can't be thrown around like an EF of the EXP series...

    H9/Carden or PAU Extra

Humm interesting, I'll have to disagree with the crowd again LOL. I flew a friends H9 Carden Extra and I was AMAZED at how good it flew. If I was still competing IMAC I think I would win more contests with this than the 100cc Aeroworks I have. Simply put, this little plane really feels like...

    Futaba 18SZ

It all makes sense. For Some reason I thought the 18 MZ was older than that. Yes it was pretty funny hearing all these people saying that 3k was WAY too much coin for a radio while it was backordered for more than a year. Anyway for me I decided that taking great care of my 14mz should be...

    Futaba 18SZ

People have been asking for something to fill the gap between the 14SG and the 18MZ since the 14SG hit the market. I always thought if they did fill that gap that the 18MZ sales would drop a bit. Makes me wonder when the 18MZ will get replaced.

    Power expander for 30cc?

Li-Ions really arent very powerful. I assume you're using the 2S pack and not the 2S2P right? Just plug in a 2S Li-Po and see if it cures your problem. Takes a minute to do.

And I'm glad there is no ''dislike'' button on this site, I would get shot down for not going with the flow saying I don't need to modify my engines to work properly.

Keep the carb wet is the ONLY thing I do to my engines. These things just want to run no matter what, as long as you don't allow them to dry out. Switching rings, buffing reed blocks or whatever magic trick are'nt needed for me.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Been saying that for years! Proper maintenance DOES save planes. And of course not pushing the envelope farther than your skills allow. I can assure you its still possible to have fun while flying conservatively.
