    Trout farm flyers

Looks like a nice club with a bunch of nice gear flying. Might have to make a trip out there one of these weekends to check it out.

Thanks to all the build thread contributors

Same here, Thanks to all those who take the time to post their build threads, tips and tricks etc. This site has become an amazing source if information. Too many good builders, and posters to thank individually, but would like to say that if @Terryscustom knew how many times I've been through...

    Ignition straight into powerbox?

I've run the Tech Aero IBEC into both the Powerbox Cockpit, and Smart fly EQ6 without issues. Also ran the smartfly opti kills, but changed to the IBEC when I converted my planes to HV, and wanted to get rid of my NiCad battery packs.

    Ignition straight into powerbox?

Probably a no go without a IBEC of some sort. The Tech Aero IBEC seems to be one of the better regarded brands, there are others out there also.

Programing question for the Futaba experts

Thanks again everybody. The transmitter does have flap trim also which is assigned to a variable rotary dial by default. The thing I don't like about the flap trim is it is both positive and negative trim, so I would have to be pretty careful when turning the dial, especially on a missed...

Programing question for the Futaba experts

Just to clarify the transmitter is a 10 CAG. I've been through the menus and can't find anything related to servo speed other than the delay for the elevator trim. I'll see if I can put some expo into it. I see in the manual that there are some options for servo speed etc in the glider...

Programing question for the Futaba experts

Hello all, I am in the final stages of setting up my 35% PAU and have a quick programming question for the experts. I am running a Futaba 10C transmitter, through a Powerbox Cockpit power board, dual servos per aileron, each aileron is on its own channel. I am trying to set up flaps, and have...

    Carnage

Well here is mine, it is actually from the fall of 2014 but just recently stumbled on the pictures again on an old phone. It was an Aeroworks 20cc Extra 300, with a Saito FG-17. The plane seemed doomed right from the beginning, I knocked it off the stand while putting it together. On its...

    Pre-Oiling new engine.

Thanks guys. I'll crank it up as is, was just a bit concerned about it siting for such a long time without running and not having any fresh oil in it.

    Pre-Oiling new engine.

Hi all. With the flying season fast approaching I'm getting my PAU Extra ready to maiden. The DA 120 in it is new, never been run but has been sitting either in the box or installed on the airframe for the last 18 or so months. I'm wondering if it would be a smart idea to pre-oil the...

    Sport New Year's Resolution Decathlon

Nice, Nice, Nice. Love the new scheme. Just wondering if you have any pics to share of the rebuild. Always nice to pick up some of the tricks of the trade. How do you like the 3e gyro, I have one installed on my Extra 300, but it wont fly until this spring / summer.

    Dynaflite Super Decathalon opinions

I think I am ready to finally take the plunge and build my first kit plane. I have assembled 5 ARFs which range in size from .6 glow to 120cc. I am wondering if anyone has built the Dynaflite Super Decathlon, what their opinions are, and if this would be a good kit as a first build. I am...

    PAU Owners Thread

Russell, I had Herve ship it to me in Montana when I was working down there. As far as I know PAU won't ship to Canada, but that may have changed since I bought mine in 2013.
