    Problem with 30cc Sbach sugestions please

    12lb, 10oz dry .. using a DLE35RA w/silencers spinning 20x9 (high altitude!), 2x800mah 2s lipo for servos/radio and 1 1000mah LiFE for ignition, Powerbox, PowerHD 8309 servos all around, and the cables for the RC Flight lights. I can take a battery out and be where you are though.

    I am using PowerHD 8309's ... 150oz-in servos (at 6v) ... and they are taking care of things just fine so I think your servos are up to it. I did need to do a lot of linkage adjustment to get the two elevators to move exactly the same all the way (using the elevator leading edge as a distance...

    What kind of problems are you having dirtbikebobby ? The only issues I had were with the aileron hinges -- they were pre-glued and aligned poorly so I couldn't get full deflection and needed lots of trim. In the long run I ended up drilling them out and re-hinging ... otherwise it was a pretty...

    Aerobeez -- Pretty much my favorite plane still -- it gets a few flights every day I am able to fly. The 'favorite' status may change once the 73" Sbac300 30cc is built, but then again I can't fly a gasser in the yard in the middle of the night without pissing off the neighbors =)

    A few more bits attached tonight Fuel dot and power switch I didn't trust myself to get this right the first time so I got these tentioners... Twas a bit easier. A quick rough fit of the electric gizmos. I really love this power box. The only real complaint is getting the opto switch...

    I run the same motor as Bloosee ... great find and I have no complaints. Pulse 2600 packs and a Talon90 ESC. I use a 15x7 Xoar, but I am at 7000ft where there is no air to push against ... and use the 14x7 when closer to sea level or in the heat.

    The Edge is flippin fantastic ... it goes with me to the field every time and gets thrown around the back yard every day it is not too windy. Floaty and slow and fun and now lit up for night flying too. I am well over 30 flights now =)

    It was windy and rainy this weekend ... boooo! I went out with some soaring guys this morning though ... tossed the TwistedHobbys Zorro wing around. Managed a 30+ minute flight on a 450mah battery and no prop ... I had no idea soaring could be so much fun.
