HOLY COW THAT'S A BIG BEAUTIFUL PLANE! Last week Aerobeez unveiled a new 40%'r at Joe Hunt Flyin!

This is not necessarily going to be a production plane, at least not yet. According to Ray at @Aerobeez they want to compete at a competition level (XFC in the future???) and continue to prove they have what it takes to be a well respected, quality big brand! Santiago currently has it in his hands and they are passing it around to all the team pilots for input. Ray said this is version 1 or many revisions to come. It's no secret that they have the right mix of great customer service, great pilots, vision and a quality product. I for one am really excited to see what comes of this! Here are some additional pictures to drool over!

Now Aerobeez that looks sweet!! I hope to maybe see some more details on this, engine size?, Weight? I have to imagine it is around 126" wingspan.... So maybe a 120cc? Very interesting!!

It's actually more like a 45% sized airplane. It's stupid light, flies like it's on rails, zero coupling everywhere, easy to hover. Santi has a DA-200 on the nose on cans (the thing is UBER smooth!!!) with Hitec 7980's all around with the JR X-Bus system onboard. Very light flying airplane even with the beastly DA200 on the nose- it still yanked it around like a rag doll!
Basically one big hucking airplane!!

With this being the prototype, there is still some refinements that will come down the tunnel. I personally haven't extensively flown it (only been on the sticks for 3-4 minutes) but I can tell that I will like this airplane a lot once I get a chance to wring it out. Santi is competing this coming weekend in IMAC with it.

Thanks so much @Xpress for you words on this plane. I heard that a bigger motor maybe in the future for this beast as well. It looks awesome and I am sure Nick ( @I Love Nachos ) had his hand in those graphics.

Thanks Xpress, must be a small fortune invested in servos, I see 10 visible servos, how many on the rudder?

12 servos for the control surfaces, 3 on each aileron, 2 on each elevator, and one on the rudder Bipenut

I think Nick definitely designed the graphics for it, that has his name all over it ;)

Yes, as I said in my first post I got to fly it for a few minutes ;)

It tracked straight as an arrow, no coupling I could find. Santi had it setup for IMAC when I gave it a try so I couldn't fly much 3D with it, but it was super stable in any attitude I put it in from high alpha in any orientation, to hovers, point rolls, everything. I'd definitely like to get a chance to huck it but Santi probably won't be so willing to hand over the sticks again anytime soon :p

eh I didn't catch the end of the post. Must of been a blast even it was for a short time. Ever fly a plane this size and power?

Negative! Biggest airplane I've flown! Rest assured, if you can fly a 30% or 35%, this airplane is no different, just bigger and hurts the wallet a little more if you crash ;)
