New Flight Power Batteries

I recently got in several Flight Power packs to use. I must say I am very impressed with the quality of the products. The new 70c packs are perfect for any 3D airframe. I am running the 3800 mah 6 cell 70c packs in my prototype Yak 55M. I compared the packs to the older Flight Power packs and must say I can tell the difference between the two! I am having full performance throughout the whole flight.

Few other changes made to the packs is that they now have the JST XH balance plug. This helps out a lot considering I no longer need a adapter to charge my packs with my chargers.
A new deans style connector comes solder on the battery pack. The connector is called the Star Plug, they have fit any old deans connection that I have tried.

The star plug is neat because you can easily unclip the cover that covers your solder joints to check on the solder.

Can you explain the maximum charge rate designations in the 30 and 50 Kevin?
That is 3CFP30, and 3CFP50

Thanks

Max charge rate is just that. The maximum allowable amperage for charge rate. 1c where c equals capacity. Take a 5000 mAh pack. 1c is 5A charge rate, as there is 1000mAh is 1A. 2c is 10A charge, 3c is 15A.

Thanks
I was referring to the "FP50" that isn't listed in all of the packs
Actually, it is. It is listed above in the description.

I looked 3x before I made this post, just to be sure that it was the correct pack I was looking at.

Will it hurt anything by being charged at a lower rate?? Not at all, it will just take longer to charge. Thats all.
