Heading to Lock Haven PA for the "Wings Over Piper' fly in in the morning, about 0530, about a 3 hour trip for me.

Spent a few hours at the field yesterday. Kept it simple and only brought out my pair of NG's. First is the Twisted Hobbies 32" NG and then the EF 67" Extra NG. I put 7 packs through the 67" and it amazes me more every time I fly it. Just such a good plane.

Got to the BAMS field yesterday with my good friend Kenny, it was two years since he has flown so I spent the day test flying his plane and trimming. The plane is a AJ AR330 or something like that with a DA 120 on cans. He told me that we had flown the plane a few years ago however after take off things got interesting. Had to have another flyer at the field help us with the dual rate rate settings. I'm pretty sure he switched transmitters during the absence from a Futaba 10 something to a 16 MZ. What a pain setting the dual rates, give me OpenTx any day. At the end of the day he was back in the air. Good day, didn't get my plane out of the van. It's probably been three years since a flew an aerobatic plane, had some fun doing loops, rolls and spins, no 3 d.
