Working on battery placement and CG. Finding its a tad tail heavy even with batteries far forward as possible.

Hmm...going to enjoy some ribs, homemade potato salad and baked beans, my awesome wife made, and think on this. I may double up batteries or something along those lines as don't like to add dead weight. The GT33 must be lighter than I thought?

Will get some more photos up tomorrow, but seems if I put both batteries up against firewall, it's just right at neutral CG, so will try it that way before making any adjustments.

Just some wire tidying up to do and then off to outside for a test/tune.

Switches and wires all organized now. doing some final checks before I take her outside for a test and tune.

It looks really good. What do you use to hold stuff down? Also, are you making your own extensions?

Wire keepers, Velcro and zip ties. Depending on the situation, I pick a what's best.

No, I get my extensions from Taildragger RC, Chads prices make it not really worth my time to make my own.

Test run went awesome. Now for some light steady winds and will get a maiden done. But before that, I found i need to shim the blind nut tabs on the canopy , it's making the fuse sides pull in. And thus makes the bolts vibrate out. Easy fix. Will take photos to show what I mean.

Just need some graphics now ;)

propsnwings: is that spinner from Aerobeez? From your earlier posts I understood that you had ordered one and it was on backorder? If you don't mind what was the cost?

Alan didnt know when he'd have the spinners in, so he told me to locate one elsewhere. I got this one from RedwingRC. It was $43 shipped. Very good quality, IMO.
