Still no word from Horizon. I tried calling them this afternoon. They called back and said a tech guy was supposed to call me back, but hadn't by the time I left work. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.:ugh:

I got a few things in the mail today. Aileron harnesses and extensions from Taildragger, and some SWB servo arms. I also ordered a fuel tank, IBEC, and a few other things tonight.

Well the left wing should be at Horizon tomorrow, so I'd imagine I'll hear from them by the end of the week.

In the mean time I got an order from RCAircraftComponents.com today. A fuel tank, Tech Aero IBEC and a few other things. I also ordered a bunch of screws from Trimcraftaviationrc.com that should be here in a few days.

Tonight I put the elevator extensions in some snake skin, and got the wiring for the rudder servo ready as well.

My workbench sure is a mess. :eek:

FedEx delivered my left wing to Horizon around noon yesterday for "evaluation". I received two odd emails late in the afternoon. one was a blank invoice, and another that said it was a completion notice and that the work had been completed and shipped back on Monday, January 01 0001 at 12:00:00 AM. The tracking number(s) for this shipment is :

When I check the status on the website it also says work completed shipped back. When I called to ask them about the emails yesterday they told me the wing was still there for evaluation and someone will call me. :oblong:

Hey Doug,

How does their hardware compare to RTL Fasteners? I'm guessing they are just as good. I hope so because I just ordered some screws & stuff for my Jug.
