PRODUCT REVIEW - TitanRC Battery Bands

Hello all!!!

I just wanted to take the time to make a note here that I just received a set of battery bands made by Titan RC USA from Aerobeez!!

These are great for keeping track of charged and discharged batteries while out at the field flying. They fit most connectors and slip right on easy enough that a lazy person like me can make good use of them. The only connector that I couldn't get it to snap on to is a JST but that really isn't a big deal as all of my JST batteries are for my indoor foamies and I have a charger right there when I'm flying indoors.

Here is a picture of mine:

As you can see they fit Deans, EC-3, EC-5, XT-60 with ease, I threw in my JST battery so you can see the size. So now at a glance you can tell weather the battery needs a charge or not and possibly save you some serious money in a crashed airplane due to an under charged or discharged battery.

Here is a link to their site where the bands are: http://aerobeez.com/Battery-Bands/ and for that price it is great insurance!!

Thanks to Aerobeez, 3DRCFORUMS, and 3DMIKE for the opportunity to try them out!! I will be ordering more very soon!!!

Hey Bipenut,

Thank you so much for sharing this info and for the great feedback! We are super excited about the products we are getting from Titan RC. The Battery bands are a great little solution and the night fly system is another one we are proud to carry.

Cheers,

My pleasure Aerobeez! Nice when a quality product comes out that actually does what they are supposed to! Nice light set for night flying too... I don't ever get a chance to fly at night but if I did I would take a serious look at those..

We can arrange that ... I usually work graves anyway lol...

Simple solution if you have a field box with pockets for batteries is, a battery with wire up is charged and wires down is not charged. Just saying its pretty simple and theres nothing to lose or mess with.

I use Husky tool carriers from home depot. They work well and have lots of pockets. I have been known to attach chargers and the like to them with wire ties and then custom solder wires to the chargers so one plug will electrify all chargers.

No that sounds like something I would do, built in charger with Leeds to each pocket, just plug the battery in and go
