I have paid the invite entry, but unfortunately I will not be going. With this surgery I really don't think I will be up to such a grueling task, as much as it is fun it is more like work. Then add in that I have not been able to get any practice in on a routine.
The surgery consisted of cutting my gum line inside and out, drilling a hole through the roof of my mouth, removing the cyst, cutting the roots off the teeth, grinding the remaining bone, adding in bone graphs, and then adding braces to hold the teeth and everything in place.
I know I said earlier I might be feeling better in a day or two but who really knows, I know for right now it has been getting more and more painful as the day has progressed. So much so I am doing something I do not do, taking some pretty good pain pills. Started those a couple hours ago and it is not making any difference as it currently stands, I may be upping the dosage the next time around. But I still hold out hope that it will be good enough to at least get the logos done tomorrow and the AW ready and loaded for a Monday flight. So, as you can see, a demanding event such as Top Gun just might not be a good idea. But Nall will be another week away and I can do everything at my leisure so most definitely still planning on it. And!!!!! I think I am going to take the Eagle and the AW Ultimate.
And before I forget, keep pecking away on the Extra, anything worth having don't you know. @Stang and I are burnt out but we still really enjoy watching you guys give it hell. So keep giving and reap the rewards!

Ouch, just from your description of the surgery my mouth is aching......hope your recovery goes well and you're out flying sooner than later

Thanks Bill. If everything had went as planned I don't think it would be nearly as bad. But it was spread under the surface more than the CT and MRI shown so nearly twice the area had to be opened up to get it out as well as more bone graphing. But the cyst is gone, the bone graph structure is in place, and the teeth are intact. Honestly, the hardest part is not being able to do anything, just not in me. The wife went to town this morning so I went into the shop and installed those added logos. But that will about do it as it is raining and nasty outside and not much to do inside, plus the wife is on her way back home. I only bring the wife up because she has to deal with it about as much as I and when she starts telling me to stop I know she is right, hate admitting that though. lol
So how is yours coming along?

Been spending a lot of time at my daughters' house helping out with her boys (2 and 6) while she's dealing with some health issues and her husband works, so lots of things are on hold right now.

But as much as I love RC my family will always come first so it's not a big deal to me!

Well, the hobby is a just a hobby, the family is everything. Hope everything with the daughter goes well and enjoy every minute with those grandsons. My granddaughter is getting to the age where grandma is it and grandad sits on the sideline unless something need's fixing, would love to have a grandson...

Ok fella's, here are the added logos. I think they finish it off perfectly less the one's coming from PSM, I really hope they fit the scheme as well. Next trip to the field I'll take a new pic for the avatar.

Looking good! I have no idea what the ones coming are going to look like. Dennis shipped them direct from his shop so I haven't seen them myself. We are both in for a surprise.

It would appear the Mike/Dennis logo is going on an extended trip. It hit Ybor early this morning and should have shown my town next with out for delivery by 9 but it did not make it. Wonder where it will post next? The wing bag is scheduled for Tuesday and I could really use it, loading the wings in the cab is a PITA, especially with remembering the 6 tubes and struts.
