Used all of them the best I think is the TecAero. But the Rexcell unit I have had difficulties with. The other one that I have only one unit is the Power Box Spark switche great up to now but only had for 2 years.

I like 'em "BIG"!
RCExcel Opto-kill. All I have ever used. All I will ever use. Never a single issue. Easy to setup whether using stand alone with an auxiliary ignition battery or straight connection to rx/power expander.

Just finished mounting the throttle servo and was about to mount the optical kill switch and ignition battery. Then I remembered this thread and, $45 later, one of these is on its way to Daddy.

You guys are a bad influence on me, and a good influence. :)
Nah, nah, nah my brother. That is nothing but a good influence, no bad anywhere in there!!!
You won't regret using it, simply plug and play. Another fine route is to drop all the switches and go with a pin and flag such as the one from Booma, again simplifies everything and just works.

The photos are an example of some of my aircraft with the Booma pin flag.

This reminds me of my 3DP project I never really finished. The way I held it down was okay, but could be better.

The Velcro doesn’t feel that taught to me. I’ve been thinking of making another version that uses a gel/foam bottom and a screw down top like I did with my receiver. The bottom isn’t flat and varies quite a bit with the epoxy holding the wires in place. Proved challenging!
