Got the tail assembly on.

Here’s another PSA reminder to check all the joints:

There is quite a few gaps in all the seams. Pick up a nice bottle of Thin/medium/ and dare I say thick CA to go over all the joints. Like I said the fit of the plywood interlocking parts are kinda poor. It’ll work though!!

Does this tail wheel come with the kit or is it a after market Tailwheel to match the large front wheels.

Yup! Stock tailgear is sandblasted. I cleaned it up and painted it black. Unfortunately we’re stuck with the wheel size. Been thinking of how to make a new fork for a larger wheel....

looks like you are going to have to go through the hole plane with some extra glue. Still looks good and a can not wait. Tailwheel looks robust.

Picture of the Tailwheel and fork to see what you are describing.
How easy is it to reach down the fuselage to get to all the joints

Oh and it’s not too bad. Would be easier if 4lbs wasn’t on one side of the fuse... hit it with glue first! You get to learn from my findings! Ha ha.

Anyways, waaaayy past my bedtime. Got off swing shift and my mind has been racing for the last couple hours.. still is. Pillow time.:sleepy:
