Looks like my best option is buy a Honda 2200i watt generator. One thing that crossed my mind is to build a 6 cell 24 volt 100 Ampere Lithium phosphate Battery pack. At 100 ampere it should be able to charge well over ten 6 cell packs at 5000 mAh. Have you seen this done or has anyone done this.

Well it's been al ong time since I posted, but I thought I should chime in.

Doinked my AJ Aircraft 115" Laser 230Z in about 6 months ago. Broken prop, wingtip, pulled LG block, bent axle, and busted wheel pants were the extend of the damage. I already procured a new set of wings, and just this week managed to repair my LG block. The repair was extensive, but not difficult.

A generator is not quite the answer they only put out 12 volts and continues 5 amps that is for the 2200waat Honda generator. So if you want to charge 6 packs at 6 cell at 25 volt full charge at 5000 mAh it can be done but will take hours.

Depends on the generator, but most generators assuredly output more than 12 volts ;)

The Predator 2000w unit from Harbor Freight is a good solid unit that a lot have been using, I liked the one I had purchased when I was with Hitec. 1800 running watts, the one at our club doesn't have an issue with powering 2 chargers pushing 35 amps each to 6s 5000 packs.

Just have to much time on my hands. So thinking about the big 6 cell packs I now have And need to charge them and doing that with a 12 volt supply is not the best way. So build a 24 volt DC supply that will be much better and take a big load of the chargers.
Did all the proper grounding so that the two supplies can be connected

I pulled this kit down from my small collection of kits. I haven’t completely committed in my mind to build it. But looking at the planes. Would you guys build the the wings with 4 servo’s or as it is on the planes? Two servo’s and bel-cranks? Would you guys attempt to build it electric or stick with 120 4 stroke? Thank you in advance for your opinions

If your radio has plenty of channels, I’d use 4 mini servos. As for power, if you already have a good collection of bigger batteries and chargers, I’d go that route. If not, I think a DLE 20 would work well. I’m not a big fan of nitro.
