I took this thing for a spin yesterday. I haven't flown it since the first time I tried it on 4S and cooked the ESC 3 or 4 years ago. I flew it on 3S yesterday and it's reasonably fast, but as soon as I get the right prop I'm trying it on 4S again.
I scratch built this over 25 years ago for some pylon racing at my old club. The only rule was everyone had to run a stock OS10. I switched to electric in 2014 and on 3S it's quite a bit faster than it was on glow.
I'm hoping that my club will do some kind of pylon racing again. We had trainer races a few years ago. Our field is big enough to do something that fits the AMA club pylon racing rules. You have to limit the airplanes to something that flies right at 100mph, but that's plenty fast to have fun!

Did you build the plane from drawings or did just did something that looked good. Can give the wing profile if you have it.

A friend of mine was cutting wing cores for his racer back then and gave me a set. The rest was designed on the fly. I might have drawn it up, but it was 25+ years ago so I really don't remember.
I do know the airfoil is basically semi flat bottom at the root and symmetrical at the tip.

Spent another good day at the field no wind no sun just overcast and the temperature was great. Man this 20cc Glitter is a blast cannot believe I have not ripped the wings off or the tail. Seriously considering building another one because you just cannot have this much fun for to long. Or maybe a 30cc size if this one survives till the fall or winter.

Today I took two of my A-10's and One of my 2.1 Cessna 150's, I have one on wheels and one on Floats. The one with wheels I use as a club Trainer Set up on my Two DX8's (wireless Trainer) For a few that show up and are interested I put them up with the Big C-150 , I forgot my GO PRO Hat Cam set up and I usually can not talk any one into using my I Phone X to do video this morning but here are a couple photo's of the ones I Flew. We had a nice 10 to 15 mph wind straight down the parking lot we use as our runway. Helped make the landings much shorter, and didn't have to use any Flaps

late this afternoon We went back out to Test fly a P-51 1.5 m Eflight the flight went great. I almost forgot how tricky the ground handling this style of War Bird has. I was a little nerves, but everything went great, Flying it off asphalt the 51 needs a lot of right rudder until the torque drops off and speed increases for the take off roll. after touch down I needed to get right rudder in to keep it straight. This type of War Bird I would rather fly off a nicely groomed short grass field any day. Flying off grass is much easier, but I guess we can't have every thing LOL!!!!
