Decided to design and print some snow skis for the Crack Beaver since we just had 4" of snow dropped on us.

Got up at 7am to design a tailwheel ski that slips onto the stock tailwheel of most 60” planes. Pretty proud of myself that it turned out functional on the first attempt! I dipped the tip in some boiler water and formed it. Used carbon rod with CA for the rubber bands.
It snowed 11” so far today….,

NICE!!! That’s one sharp looking model!! Love the paint scheme!

If it flies half as good as it looks, you have a winner!
It flys amazing. I need to work out some ESC issues but other wise I like it. Used the power setup from a crashed eflite plane that was a similar size. I’m not getting full range of throttle so the prop wouldn’t start spinning until about half throttle. Was able to run my throttle trim all the way up and now it will start just under 1/4 throttle. Sadly Eflite has a stupid way of setting throttle range and it’s not sac easy as full throttle, power up, wait for beeps, bring back to idle and it’s set.

Glad to hear it flies well!!

Wish I could help, but never programmed an Eflite ESC. Have several but all I’ve ever done is plug and play.
