Alert! Is HOBBICO Next? Hobbico files for bankruptcy

I do know over the last few years I dropped off buying much from them as I went to larger planes and they don't really target those. They are always efficient with getting an order to you which is nice.

Two ways basically, slightly shorter bolt that just fits and cut off the allen wrench to tighten (this was what I did and it worked great), or use a stud with a nut.

You have to really do your homework on these. This is another area where one size doesn't fit all, or least not well.

That is a great start on the upcoming season.

I have heard other guys say that they don't understand why they are busier after retirement. Maybe it was all those things that did not get done while working.

Pilot 40% 330 Recover and Build

What gets me is how some of the contractors have these magical numbers bouncing around in their heads and if one is ignorant they will spend tons not knowing what things cost. I had once contractor look at my geothermal and I just popped the question, how much would it cost to replace one of the...

I wished I could do curves like that! I have done some (definitely not on a fuse), but wound up tossing them because they looked horrible :oblong: That looks like some very professional work.

I use a Mojo65 for most of my learning. I can do pretty much everything on the larger planes, but the Mojo is the ticket for learning, at least from my way of thinking. Some would probably say otherwise.

Not me. Went to bed at my usual time and got up at my usual time. I quit partying around 40 years ago. Gave that life up and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, besides it granted me less headaches and much more cash in my pocket for other things :D

Your goals are much like mine. I can prop hang with canopy or belly out no problem but the rolling thing has been challenging and also getting real low has been challenging. Just before end of the season I was much lower than ever though. I would guesstimate around 20-25', but not really sure...

Some make 3D look easy. I have a long way to go, but I am excited at how much I have learned over the last couple of years. I can do things now, that I never could have imagined. It just takes practice and a lot of fuel (a lot more fuel for some of us).

Glad to do it. This hobby is US. I remember once reading a catchy saying that went like this, "None of us is as good as all of us." That is a good way to look at our RC hobby.

I hate it the way furnaces just sit there all the time and then when you use them they break. Oh wait, a lot of things do that! I hope it is not a big job for you and something really simple.

There is going to be much regret. There may need to be a wager or two on the table. :big-grin:

The I'm NOT going out flying thread.

Around here they are talking about 28 degrees for the high and 8 mph winds. Not at all my joyable flying weather. Some would consider that warm, but my fingers don't like to work the way they used to when it was cold.
