    Gorilla glue works great. My only issue is I can never control the amount to use and for me it always swells out the hing and gets over everything. I'll stick to using gorilla glue for wing sheeting. Its great for that and I can sand it. Otherwise I just make a big mess!! LOL Al

    Test it for yourself. If I remember correctly Robart even use to put it on there instructions. I have even used it on flat hinges such as Klett and dubro. See the picture with my post. We have about 12K invested into that plane and all the hinges are put in with titebond ( aliphatic resin)...

    I use titebond. Never had one pull out. Easy cleanup. Clean your hinges in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. then install. get a glue gun put some titebond in the hinge hole and insert the hinge. FYI: for those who don't know us we manufacture plane kits and have been doing it for over 20 years...

    Interesting thread: I used to be a die hard Ultracote user and liked it over the old MonoKote, We had a falling out with Horizon so I changed over to using Monokote. The new monokote is very different than the old stuff. I find that you have to use much higher heat to apply it and shrink it...

    That scheme is actually from a full scale 200. It shows up well when flying iMac. Paul as for paint it looks good but adds nothing. Great way to hide mistakes. Lol. Bryan, did you see all those clamps!!!
