Official 3DRCF Review of EME 55V2 and accessories from Mile High RC

It is really healthy and so far I am quite pleased with it. I think in the middle of the week next week I will get to fly it and should have some video of it then. Looking forward to seeing just how it performs

Ok I understand where and why you are thinking that way, I'm not sure it would have the desired effect on a smaller scale like our airframes. One thing I have learned over the years is a person can improve things to uselessness, we are not building a violin lol. These airframes are pretty rigid...

Thank you! Well I do normally put the wings on, but I have seen it done this way many times, honestly I don't know what best practice would be or is.... You do have a point about vibration dampening.... Maybe someone will fill us both in lol

    Curious

Hello AeroWorks, I am curious of when you think you may have either the Checkmate or the Pitts Python back in stock? I like the looks of both planes and I need to know how long I have to save my money up  lol Thank you very much!!

Lol that's the way it happens to me! Then I get the stuff and the packages are damaged and a lot of the time I have to wait longer, those Kavans should be good on that airplane

AJ Laser 230z 73" Build Thread

Really nicely done AKNick! I used the same form for baffling my 70cc twin in my Extra, it works very well I don't think you'll have a problem at all.

    74" Skyline Corvus

Nice 6172crew, I am looking forward to seeing pictures of this airplane. I do think I would replace those hinges with Robart pin hinges. I have used those flat hinges with pins before and had them break on me. I ended up replacing them with the Robart hinges... Just a thought

It is an Aeroplus fuel tank. It is 16 ounces or 500ml as you would order it. This is the first time I have used them. I really like it, it has a metal cap where the fitting is for the carb and all the fittings are brass with really nice barbs. I do think I will be using these in the future.

Official 3DRCF Review of EME 55V2 and accessories from Mile High RC

Thanks AKNick! Yes there is more to come, one of the really nice things about this engine package is their attention to detail. Inside the book are the normal decals but on top of that there is a decal for drilling the engine mounting holes! Just stick it on the firewall on the center lines and...

All the engines I have bought in the past, no fuel or oil brand recommendation, just that break in on gas engines should be done with a non synthetic 2-stroke oil. They do however most of the time want a 91 octane fuel, but I have a few engines that say either 87 or 91 octane is fine
