    DA-70

Started on the next 70 install need a little advise, This is a 3DHS 89 Slick V1 that I rebuilt, the openings on the v2 cowl that I am using are smaller than the V1, I am slightly worried about cooling issues, I marked this on off to cut it to match the old cowl, It has to be split and painted so...

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Got out with @ChickenBalls and @mulehead1969, perfect weather cool enough for a light hoodie, got a few in and had the pleasure off running off a passer by, He wanted to see some one fly and had been in the hobby for 30 years but they said he left muttering oh no 3D when i flew for him, LOL he...

Edge or Yak for first giant scale?

I love my 91 yak, I will say that if you want to learn 3d the bigger plane is the better choice every thing happens slower, plus you really won't have that much more money tied up in it in the end

    DA-70

@mulehead1969 and I bought a couple DA 70's last month finally got around to busting mules off after a morning of flying with @ChickenBalls, this is going to be a sick motor! Fired in 5 flips with choke on and was running in 3 more. I had planes to put mine on a rebuilt 89 slick but now I'm...

    DL 50 Issue

If it is surging kind of like a motor does just before it runs out of gas it's too lean on the low end richen it a hair then when you make adjustments only do the high or low which ever is off that makes it easier to go back if the adjustment had an adverse effect.

I am not sure havent messed with those cowls but @ChickenBalls has a larger sukhoi with a DLE 85 and pitts and it ended up cut a good bit to get over the pits.

    Pitts Style Muffler

I can say I have had zero issues with my 61, Also the stock pipe on the 61 works well in the 91 yak cowl. the only hole needed was a small relief for the plug cap and one hole for the exhaust exit, I cut it about a 1/4" wider than the stinger and thats all that was needed but I do have to...

Got to try the Slick out Sunday sense having to replace rudder hinges that are by the way not easy to find if you want to keep it removable, think the smoke system is damn near perfect now pumping good and not a lot of clean up. Thanks for the pictures @ChickenBalls

    Hitec servo help

@Xpress I forgot you use redundant RX and no distribution correct? So I should do the same. It seems that maybe by chance but for sure 4 of 5 are causing an issue while using a fail safe/bat share switch such as the booma or wolverine. I do have one on an 88 extra using a booma switch but it is...

    Hitec servo help

No Bind they had nothing connected to them the servos were just sitting in the air frame, I am also using this same servo on my 61 as throttle but I have it on a smart fly which Im sure you have on a 100cc running Hitec, I wouldnt know if they were doing this with a smart fly until the servo...

    3D Big Ailerons

I guess It would but with it being the cowl I rather let warren help me with the cup gun and do it right. I just painted wood with a clear in a rattle can and some gain is noticeable even though I put down Resin first and sanded it but it still looks good

    Hitec servo help

You seem to have covered it fairly well, I did notice the two 5665's we tried here were getting warm after only 10-20 sec also that's on 2s were they warming up on your regulator?

    Wing rock

I also work the throttle and kinda pulse the elevator on my 91 yak to get locked in then its just a little throttle pulse from then on, I have zero rock with it unless I start turning and I know thats just sub par skill but the extra is a whole other ball game
