    Scale PJ 295 build.

This is an old style kit and did not have a top canopy hatch which I really wanted. Had to cut and shape extra formers to be able to make the canopy deck removeable. Had to make a few new formers.

    Scale PJ 295 build.

Added a die cut 1/8 sheet lite ply to both sides, this is what made a left and right. Joined to two together.

    Scale PJ 295 build.

Well now that the snow has started to fly it's time for me to start building. The plane I'm building is a PJ 295, an early 1960's biplane. It is also a very old kit that was given to me by Wayne Haldenby. a friend It was produced by Trillium Balsa, a company that used to be in Tillsonburg...

Scale RCM 1/3 Scale Champ Build

I agree with your logic. If you had issues with the RSSI I would add a third RX as well. I guess the type of planes I fly I do not have problems with metal and I also fly in a relatively quite environment with no local cell towers. And yes, with the cost of the FrSky stuff it makes it easy to...

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Yes, I could not work without my dremel. I wore out my 90 degree attachment for it and will get another, I really miss it.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

I so wish that I had tools like you guys! And knew how to use them. Nothing here that I have other than a very good scroll saw and drill press.

Scale RCM 1/3 Scale Champ Build

Do you find it necessary to use three RX's? I have only ever used two and found I had a good connection.

    Snoopy!

I live near Owen Sound, it would be nice to get together and have a few flights next year. Again, glad you are okay.

You taking a little break, I can understand that. As long as you are well!

    3D printed Abrams P-1 Explorer

That is a neat way to build a plane! It seems to fly well.

Hey Snoopy, where did you go? I need my fellow Canuck on here, you had some interesting builds!!

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Sad to say we all might be using hobby king covering soon. I have always enjoyed my monokote and will be very sad to have to use something else. Now I'm looking for at least 9 rolls to cover my next build and it is very hard to get hold of it here. You did a great job on those canisters Tony. I...

Scale Wendell Hostetler 30% PA-28 Cherokee Build

PFU? I somewhat agree with you but.... I could not live without servo reversing, expo and many other things in these "computer radios". Both my crashes were because I did dumb things! First one because I was giving a demonstration to a group of developmentally challenged people, I was doing a...

Scale Wendell Hostetler 30% PA-28 Cherokee Build

I know how you feel. I recently crashed both my 70cc Vertigos, by what I call dumb thumbs on the radio programing. Both planes are repairable.
