Scale Wendell Hostetler 30% PA-28 Cherokee Build

I am the president of our club. It was written in the club rules long before I joined that a range check must be done be fore each flying session. I always do it on a new install but do not really see the point after that. But being what I am to the club I always do it.

Yes, not being able to hear the beep would scare me. I can understand how it happened to you. I was wondering how you would do the canopy.

Did your radio not "beep" at you to tell you that you were in range mode? It sounds like you really enjoyed the plane and flew it scale. Nice.

Like that you are starting a new one, dislike the way the old ended up.

I really like it. By mistake I bought archer SR10 pro, the one with the gyro built in. The gyro in it is a real PIA to set up so I just went with the archer R8. My next purchase will be a R10 pro.

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

I am the same. I have seen people work on their radios or their planes at the field and because they were so wrapped up in their minds they forget things like wing bolts or plugging in their ailerons.

Yes, they must. I have heard from another owner of the same motor and he had the results as I have. I do not believe they are as high in the RPM's as a GP 76 or DA 70 but for my style of flying I don't need the best "numbers".

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

Finally had the Vertigo flying! Only three flights so far but liking how it fly's. I have never had a plane this size as light as it is. Really feel the difference, in flight it does everything very easily at half throttle, even in landing it is so very controllable. I'm flying it with the RCGF...

I have always worked with monokote, I find it much better. I did cover a friends plane with Ultrakote and had a very hard time with getting it around corners. Same as Nick.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Went out a few more times. No one complained about us being out there. I still have not flown a gas plane but had fun with my 3 cell electrics. We even let a few friends come up from the city to fly with us as their fields are all shut down. We all kept our distance but could still talk and razz...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I started on the Frsky road with a X12S, I came from JR. I have never looked back. I always set up my planes on the TX itself, only used companion to look at logs to see that the set up on a new plane was good for RSSI. I found it easier to set up my planes "live" so that I could see what the...
