    Yippee! What the postman brought

Received my new TX yesterday. Frsky X20S. Frsky is getting away from open TX and have a new OS called ETHOS. I do really like it. It has lost none of the open TX features but much simpler to set up a plane.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Give me a few days and I will see if I can measure both. I had a EME 60 that ran prefect. I could start it with one flip at the field. I crashed that motor and broke a lug from it. Maybe I will try to put that card on the DA70 just to give it a try later this summer.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I ordered a canister with two manifold inlets from Germany for my DA70, I made the manifolds to the same volume each to see if it would change the performance. It did not. But everyone at my flying field said that it seemed quite. I took a DB reading and it was almost the same as most canisters...

This motor is in my 17 pound Vertigo. I believe it will perform well. To tell the truth I was not that happy with my DA 70. But I bought it used, still payed more for it than this RCFG 70.

    The biggest reason was price.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I bought it from the states. I just made sure I was getting a real RCGF stinger. Not a VV knockoff. I fought all last summer with my DA70 trying to get a decent idle, It would always idle to fast for me, 1500 1600 rpm. It wouldn't roll on grass at idle but had a heck of a time trying to get the...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I bought myself a RCGF stinger 70cc twin for my Vertigo. Yesterday I started it in my driveway for the first time and was shocked how well it started! I loosen the big screw on the carb and pumped a little gas through it till it dripped out. Tighten the screw back up and with three flips with...

3D Vertigo build, any interest in a build?

I'm using H50B's in my 70cc Raven. I have nothing bad to say about them but I'm not a good 3D pilot, I try but that's as far as it goes. As far as my style, smooth flying, they work great. I bought my first Blue Birds when hobby king started to carry them. I believe they were BLS 31's and I...
