The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Disregard the profile question as I was thinking of Ohio Model Products OMP.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

That would be like a 30cc size range correct? Is it one of their profile kits or full fuse and what all is included in the kit.

I’m going out flying thread 2019

Before work maiden didn't go quite as planned. Plane flys great and here are my thoughts. Decent power on 3S so can't wait to see it on 4S. Flew slightly nose heavy as I expected for first flight with battery placement. Stalls are nice and gentle. KE had no coupling for me at all. I do think it...

Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

I will answer all that I can. I will say there are a couple free softwares out there as well. I have not used any of them but have heard good things about a few of them. I only have AutoCAD as I’m in school and took a class on it which got me the student version for free. Now that I’m soon to...

Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

CAD was not hard to learn for me. Still haven't gotten into the 3D side of things but suppose I will be before long since I should be moving into our engineering department at work by the end of the year.

    Yippee! What the postman brought

New toy today. It’s the eflite pitts. It’s a very well put together other than the pins that hold wing struts on are a pain to install. Really like that the battery is mounted to a removable tray for easy install. Maybe a maiden tomorrow but there is supposed to be rain tomorrow so it may wait.

    Big blue wire nut

LMAO. too funny opening GSN up and seeing this. May I suggest the split bolt for next time when the big blue wire nut just isn’t big enough.

    Bill Hempel Yak 55

I agree with everyone else. Grind the firewall edge back to clear it all. Glue in some hardwood tristock on the inside of it in that spot. And just let it roll with the prop clearance. Will look fine.
