Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

I generally build the fuse and tail surfaces first. When building the wing though if I have the room I build it as one piece and separate after. First thing I do is grab the root ribs and cut spacer blocks the thickness of the fuse to go between them just using small spring clamps to hold it all...

Will post better pics when I have a chance to get them but for now a quick show of my new toy. Cameras on these things are amazing. Plan to take it up to about 150ish feet and park it over our heads while my buddy and I are flying DLG’s. Should provide a pretty cool perspective of the launch...

Lol I get ya there. I’ve barely scraped by with C’s in these classes and they are pointless for what I do for a living. Algebra on the other hand I use a good bit in the electrical field.

here is a screen shot of one of my radios. I see your second post and not following exactly what your trying to do but willing to help any way I can. Yes Calculus sucks. I have completed precal 1 and 2 and now in calc 1 and lucky for me the degree I'm working towards does not require past that...

Looks good so far. I reckon any of the nice older radios will do for the conversion just Kraft was first in my mind.

If I could come across an old kraft radio I would do the same thing with it using my x9d since I just upgraded to the x9 lite.

A piece of MIG welding wire works great as well.

Swapped out the motor and prop on my multiplex weekender last night. Stock 3 blade sucked and the motor was so low of a KV that to get what I wanted on 3S would have ended up with like a 15” prop that would have looked weird and probably had clearance issues. Now to find a new spinner for it

Nice perk but its not a fun machine to run for smaller rc stuff. You can't use the small filaments, only the 3mm stuff. A buddy who has printed a lot of stuff for me has a AM8 and he can get way better detail on smaller parts than this thing can.

No I haven’t gotten one yet. Want too but I recently transferred into the engineering department at work so I have access to a Lulzbot Taz6 when it’s not being used for other things.

Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

The motor is mounted on its side. Because of the fuse a pitts style wont fit in some cases and if you use a stock style muffler the exit tube is in line with the wing so it dumps all unburned oil on the wing. use a muffler like off of a twin or WWRC sells a profile style so the exit tube is...

Printed a new hat clip for my Mobius as the old one was quite rough and would barely hold onto my hat at this point.

    For Sale Taranis X9D

Taranis X9D for sale. In good working order but I'm switching over to the X9-Lite. Still only running OpenTX 2.1 as I never had any need to upgrade past that. Mods include Speaker upgrade and baffle to improve sound. M9 Hall Effect Gimbals (these things are amazing) Aluminum balance bar...

Finally started writing a program in my new radio. DLG programs take a lot of work too. An hour in and not even halfway through all the stuff that needs to be there. Will be worth it in the end though to have a smaller and more compact radio when throwing.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Weight to hold parts in place. I have found it is most useful when sheeting a wing as it covers a larger area and provides plenty of clamping pressure.

A fellow member of the Probro website and electrician like myself gave me a good tip and I have collected them since. When replacing the ballast in old flouresent fixtures cut the wires off and glue a piece of dollar store foam to the bottom of it.

Yeah I build on glass as well and love it. Makes it interesting at times when trying to do a larger glue up and I start running low on weights to keep things in place though.

Looks nice. Are you building over a sheet of glass?

    Yippee! What the postman brought

It should arm itself from the get go though. Can you describe the beeps you get when you plug it up. If you get a little jingle then Beep, beep, beep, BEEEEEEEEEEEP then it should be armed and saying it has a 3S batt hooked up to it. If it just sits there and keeps beeping every 3-5 seconds then...
