I sincerely appreciate your vote of confidence. I did not get the photos of your pick up sensor on the front of your engine. Also the ignition module. Post a couple of photos.

Sorry... guess I could have included that tid bit of info. RC Excl, Get a hold of Milton at RC extreme power. Link is attached. http://www.rcextremepower.net He is very knowledgeable about these ignition swaps. It will depend on the sensor location on your engine that will determine which setup...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Now that is nice! You should be really excited.

There is one other suggestion I would offer. Shoot me a couple of photos of your ignition system and your pickup sensor. If that 150 is designed like my 157, I would highly recommend the rcexl ignition and sensor. I guarantee a minimum of 300 RPM increase and the performance is unmatched. They...

Well, you know what they say. Once you Tango a couple of rounds with a fiery redhead, you'll never want anything else. Depending where I fly whether it be at the Huck Fest in Washington or here at home, my numbers usually average 6300 to 6600 static with a falcon carbon-fiber 32x10.

One thing that I will say. If Gerhard sends it out the door in perfect condition, I would never question that. Voice of experience.

Nice, now send them to me for the Behemoth Stang.

One other thing, I have never owned one of the older 150 engines. However from what I have been told, they are nearly as strong as the 157 CS. You should see nearly the same RPM with the same prop as what I get with my 157.

Redhead or not, it is still Superior German engineering. LOL I suppose care and maintenance all depends on how much usage it has had. If one knew the exact history, I suppose it would be easier to make a judgment call. That said, I would definitely take a look at the inside of the cylinders for...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Yes, that is pretty much the way it was. However I had good friends. I will say this much however. I do miss those days. Maybe not necessarily working on cars in the cold. But definitely the days of my youth. Oh the fun we had. and oh my goodness, the girls girls girls. LOL nothing like the...

It must be going around fellows. I also have not been feeling on top of the world. It must be all of the sudden snow and cold that we are getting. We enjoyed a fairly mild January. But oh look out, February comes along and all hell breaks loose. Hope you all get feeling better.

    SOLD! Hitex Aurora 9 Tx w/ 3 Optima 9 Rx's

Honestly, a great and robust radio! My son still has his original A9 from nearly 9 years ago. I still have my A9x. I just can't bring myself to part with it. I just wish Hitec had moved forward with their launch of the Aurora 16. It would have been "BEAST"! Good price Bart. Worth the money, IMHO.

Scale 1/3 Scale Extra 330L Build.

I think... I still have the video of my original Pilot V2 Edge 540. The Purple Crown Royal Scheme. I originally set it up with a DLA 128 four banger. It sounded cool as heck. And the plane flew nice with it. There is a huge difference in the power band between a twin and a four cylinder...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Ha! I remember being 16 and laying on my back with a turbo 350 resting on my stomach. Lifting it "UP" by myself into the bottom of a '66 Bonny. (1966 Pontiac Bonneville 2 dr. Hdtp.) Bolting it against a 389 H.O. V8. Dead of winter, fingers frozen solid... and only the light of a drop cord to...

I believe Dimes is correct. If memory serves, wasn't it the second of two scheme offered for that airframe at that time? Don't quote me, but I had thought I remembered that plane from at "least" four or five years ago. My son has the matching 120cc size of that one you have. No matter, either...

Scale 1/3 Scale Extra 330L Build.

I don't know my friend. As for that, you would know that better than anyone. But I truly disagree with the thought that a 4-cylinder cannot do 3D. That was a huge debate not so long ago when my son put his dle 222 4-cylinder on his Pau 43% Edge 540. He can toss that thing around as easily as any...

    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

Actually, now that I remember there was a reason why I did not put Servo lead tubes in the stab. I had an old man moment for just a minute or two. LOL. You see the way that the stab will fit onto the fuselage, the servo leads for the elevator servos will actually drop out the bottom skin down...

    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

Thanks for the heads up on that. But I already have that well under control. I really don't have to run the servo wires that far. They will actually come up through the top of the stab so as to connect with the extension harness that will run down the center of the fuselage through the servo...
