    Scale 35% Krill Extra 330SC....CUSTOM-ARF!!!

The picture is about 20% smaller than actual size. The disc diameter on the ones I had was 54mm or about 2-1/4". The hydraulic lines are 1/8" OD poly tubing. Integy makes some really nice ones too and they come in assorted colors....They also appear to have hose couplings on their hydraulic...

    Scale 35% Krill Extra 330SC....CUSTOM-ARF!!!

That might not be as hard as you think Earle. Back when I was into the 1/5th scale FG cars I had a 50cc stadium truck I had put full hydraulic actuated disk brakes on. With a plane that size I see it being very feasible.

Thanks. They do have some decent servos but as you said their prices are a bit inflated now. And like any other China / Taiwan servo the R and D and final testing always seems to be behind the power curve on the new "mega" servos. I have had great success with their BLS 2209's and 3114's (paid...

I would just fill the holes in with balsa or light ply and cover them over. That way you can put your gear the way you want and like. No matter how "Complete" the plane you get: there is always something that gets your modeling skills involved :yesss:.

"Tad" nose heavy is always good for the first flights. Always move something further back, like batteries, later on. Best thing is your not having to add weight to do so :). And who knows....You may like it nose heavy and keep it there.

Good Luck and have fun. I have found however that these small park flyers that are designed around a "flight control system" do better with it. As a matter of fact the small extra I have is a horrible flyer with out it. You could get creative with the stock receiver and use the "Forward...

Tell me about it...Just mention 2-56 or 1.5 mm and my arthritis says "Nope" not doing this :(.

I'm sure it will be ;). You should have no problems with it. You getting such a big plane simply reminded me that even good flyers can get really nervous when the price tag gets a few more zeros in it. My case in point is the guy I sold my Alien Extra to. I promised to help him get comfortable...

In honesty...I have had my registration since 2015. And it expires in 2020. Yes I will renew it to be legal. But I never thought in a million years it would come to this. Really takes the wind out of one's sail :(. And I suppose that is what it's really about.

Thanks. I really did think it was a connector issue at first because mine had some too. The manuals are pretty straight forward if you are using spektrum gear. This is what I did to make the "rats nest" of connectors easy to plug in the wing. The bare pin connector is for the lights... Oh! How...

Most important.....That's a real good flying plane. Almost got one myself few years back but you all know I have come to deal with "Not so Big" these days :concern:. I think your really going to like that plane once your knees stop "knocking" after your Maiden. Best wishes David.
