    Your absolutely correct. I "had" 10 of the 50B's and it took several visits back to BB To get them to perform marginally. Good to see ya posting up here again :).

    One thing I do not know about the mix is "is it always on?" and not assigned a switch. I think so because you are using "Flap set up" in the radio programming thus eliminating need for the second mix.

    One thing you might double check is P-mix-1. Make sure the values read just like what the manual shows. Good Luck.

    I just looked over my Timber and yours is set up differently. I have one channel (6) for flaps and one channel (2) for ailerons. Ignore what I have said :oops::D

    Did you set your wing and tail configuration to one servo per control surface? The most basic set up. If you set the main wing as having flaps and 2 ailerons the programming will lock specific channels to support that. Remember AS3X is like any other gyro and needs to see the basic 3 channels of...

    Exactly. But I am saying cut that blasted "angled sided" portion of the motor box off. Rocco ( AeroWorks) and Herve (PAU) have always had to be different in their motor box designs. And it ended up being a PIA trying to get your favorite engine mounted to them...

    I would make two plates of the correct dimensions and height and glue them to the front and back of the existing firewall. Just make a spacer piece to get glued at the top between the two plates.     From the point of completion that you are now at I would consider drilling holes and installing CF rods instead and maybe use the CF strips to go on the wings LE and TE once the Ailerons are cut free.

    For best structural reinforcement the CF laminations should be installed to a member of the wing that would allow the CF LE and TE to be up and down facing to the wings top and bottom surfaces.
