I have my Flex Aura in and setup. Have had only 6 flights with it and I have to say that I'm impressed on how well it works! It sure takes fighting the wind right out of the picture. works amazingly well!! Still need to get the gains set right as I ran out of channels to make the gain...

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

The idea behind the hardwood blocks just tapped for the bolts would be so that the bolts would strip out of the blocks before ripping the bottom of the plane. I have done it on my plane and had a few rough landings due to trying to get it down on short fields and it has held up fine so far. But...

    Rebuilding the Yak...again.

Still better than buying a new ARF!! And you get to make any improvements you want while you are at it. I know I'd be taking a good look at the landing gear blocks. Maybe even changing it to a Carden style landing gear system. The bolts just into hardwood blocks.

    Gyro's for planes

I only get so many days to go flying, and so many of those days have been very windy around here. To much wind to have fun in, yes I can fly in wind but it kind of gets old just trying to fight the wind instead of having fun. Which is why I would like to try a gyro.

    Gyro's for planes

Even my flying buddy who only fly's scale is shaking his head at me!!! Almost got the Aura installed just hung up on the servo reversing. The "hold for four or more seconds" is not working for me.
