Man, I swear I've done this before! ;) With all the Thanksgiving festivities over, I got all the spars and sub leading edge on the top wing this evening before I called it quits for the day. Show Me the Biplanes!!!!
I know a few people that have built them and loved them. Matter of fact I wanted one in the worse way for a number of years. They are older and build a little heavier than newer designs so they aren't a good 3D airframe, if you are looking for something to huck it won't be what you're after...- Bipeguy03

What type of hinges are you planning on using? I used dubro hinges on my 35% and replaced the cotter pins with a single piece of piano wire. I then put bent the tip end around and put a small ring terminal on it so that I could screw it to the bottom side of the wing tip. That way if I need...- Bipeguy03

Okay, I can post the pictures now! I made the bungee thimbles out of 1 inch lengths of 3/16" wire with number 8 flat washers soldered to both ends. I then soldered the thimbles to the bungee struts in the apex after I had shortened the struts themselves. Making the thimbles in the vice...- Bipeguy03

Don't know about the 26% but I moved the gear forward on my 35%. Right up to the backside of the cowling which was a good 2 inches further forward. My Ultimate can get a little nerve racking taxiing in the grass because the gear is too far aft, I didn't wanna have that problem with my Pitts!- Bipeguy03
