    Have a 93" Laser. Really enjoy flying it with just a little ole 3W 55xi, and a full tuned pipe. They fly real light. Mine was 19ish, but feather light feeling. A friend of mine wants my 93", after I put a new firewall in it.

    Gonna throw 75% of the crap on my build table away. Gotta get my FW going, along with my AJ rebuild and then a couple of customer jobs this winter. The customer jobs will pay for the electric Robart retracts for my FW. Alteady have the engine, just need a muffler for my 55.

    Does your spinner have an aluminum backplate? If not, dont mount it. Get an aluminum backplate, then mount it. Reason is, the backplate gets warm, and and loosens the bolts, and then bye bye new prop and spinner. Carbon backplates are good on engines upto 120cc. Carbon backplates on 150cc...

    A Sig Kiwi with an older round head Tiger 40. It was the touch n go king! I miss my old Tipo, but dont regret selling it. Only airplane I regret selling is the OMP Yak 55M, 108".

    Ive used 10-15 of the RCExl opto kills over the past few years. I havent had any issues with them. Brand new, out of the package, right into a brand new airplane, no issue. Makes me wonder if you bought a bum one......

    You can go Tech Aero, RCExl or other type of opto kill switch.     A little moisture works well, but I use nothing but the fuel line that we have at TDRC. A little heat with the heat gun, and then pinch it with your fingers is what I do. You will ha e to cut the line onorder to remove it, or heat it, again.

    Try to peel the canopy off the deck. Then all you would have to do is clean up the inside of the canopy, to reglue it. Snap a shot of the profile of the canopy and frame......

    Is it the wooden frame or the plastic canopy? If its the wood frame, its an easier fix than the canopy, itself. Wet the wooden frame, bolt it to the airplane, and let the wood dry. It "should" remove the warp.

    I went flying with my buddy last sunday. Got 3 or flights in on my Corvus with the RCGF 120. It never missed a beat. On par with the DA 120 I had.
