What is the best EDF fan?

Schuebler and BVM are the tops.

    BlueBird HB 50B servos

That, I wish we could do, my man. I understand and respect his position on reselling to the general public, servos that have been previously mounted and used. We discuss that here and there, but there is absolutely no swaying him on that. ThunderBolt RC doesn't have any instock? My plan for...

    BlueBird HB 50B servos

Chad got a couple of 50Bs back for return, claiming a jitter in the sweeping range. He tested them on the bench, with a servo tester, and they are fine. He sends them to me, and I use my XG11, and set them up on my Compy MX2. Set the radio to servo test, and go thru step, quick, slow and...

    Aerobeez 45% Extra 300 assembly

HS 81 or 85 MGs. ;) Really, just need a servo that has good speed, for throttle. Your carb will only transition so fast. I just bought 2 Savox 1250 HVs for my 93" AJ Laser with a 3W 55xi and tuned pipe. That should be flying in a couple of weeks.

    Gyro's for planes

Gyros are for helis. End of story. :) I will not fly an airplane if there is a gyro onboard.

    Average mah usage for 100cc

My 108" Corvus draws ~400mAh/flight. Running dual 3600 2S Glacier LiPo's. Ignition is drawing off 1 pack, so, 1 pack will show a little more usage than the other.

    Prop assistance please

The 28x9.5 is pretty much a really good 3D prop. If you are wanting to cut back on some airborn noise, drop down to a 27x11 or 26x12. Larger prop diameters will prop rip so much easier than a smaller diameter. As said before, throttle management is key. Don't fly full throttle to the next...

    Sunday night GSN Update

I wasnt even upset when I read the email. I felt that with the procurement of 3DRCF, that things would go down hill, but not this soon. And now, Good Guy Paul, sets up and buys the forum. Kudos to you, Paul. This is a tough market to be in. But, you have made many folks happy. I wish you...

    BlueBird HB 50B servos

Me too. But then I would be down a flyable airframe. I have 7 8711HV's that I would pull too. Again, downing a flyable airframe.

    Sunday night GSN Update

I've been saying that for years. After my Edge blew a wing off the tube socket, and my buddies 50cc Yak airframe breaking at the turtledeck while I was flying it, I cannot recommend and will not recommend AeroWorks airframes.

    3D JAG's 35% Carden Edge

Also, if you have a Carbon spinner, change it out for an Aluminum one. Plus, if you can put all your batteries on the engine box, try that as well.

    BlueBird HB 50B servos

Yeah. My Dalton 300 would pull around 350 or so/flight. And that is with 8911HVs.

    BlueBird HB 50B servos

2 flights tonite. Using just a hair over 400mAh/pack/flight. Which is to be expected with a high powered servo. DC source, current consumption goes up too!
