    We decided to go to the range today. It was dads idea to go today. He didnt want to keep the muffs on, but once he was side tracked from them with some casings, he left them on.

    Got a set of mufflers from a friend of mine for a reasonable price. They have been mounted to my engine! I give the L needle just a small tweek, leaner. Ready for the BG 3D event next week!

    If you can get a wood dowel rod, 3/4" or so diameter, or whatever size that is and gorilla glue it in. Drill and tap, or install a brass insert for a retainer.

    If you run 8 servos, thats 4A continously, and you arent going to pull a consistant load. You will always have a spike.

    If you are running dual Rx, don't worry about it. Otherwise, Spektrum Rx can handle 35A continously.

    Its a MultiPlex plug. I dont like what is shown in the pix. The roundness is where you solder your wiring.

    Get some powersafe Rx's, and forget all about power expanders and that other hooplah..... Buy the most channels you can.

    Wanted!! Stock DA 100 mufflers. Down tubes cannot be cut. Check those old boxes of mufflers, and see what you have.

    3 more flights this morn! This servo comes down cool as a cucumber, too! Put 1300mAh back in 2 each Glacier 3600 LiPo Rx packs, from yesterdays flying. I was MUCH harder with my flying yesterday and today.

    Got more on the 120 today. Both muffler down tube broke today. So, I sold a set of DA 120 mufflers today. Will use that $$ towards a new set of 100 mufflers. All in all, Im happy with the engine. Need to twist those little twisty thingies more.

    Recharged 1200 mAh in. I think it was actually 4 flights I did yesterday, and another 3-4 today.

    3 flights today. Full throttle down wind KE, then to high rate into a loop. Never faltered. Checked my 3600 packs after 2 flights, and was down to 75% capacity. Will report actual recharge capacity.
Top
