    3 flights today. 6 flights total so far. Lost a down tube on a muffler. But DA100 mufflers fit it too. So, that will be the route I go with for mufflers.

    It can be a 25 year engine if you leave it on the shelf. I do imagine that it will be a 10 year engine, with thw occasional send in for service.

    No flying this week, until friday. Setting up a room in my basement for reloading, loading up the trailer for the fly in this weekend, looking at buying a new revolver, a 6" 357 Magnum.

    I think Im gonna buy one. But it will be next year when I do. This will be my first new 3W engine since I bought 100 Cactus SS, back in 2003.

    Repaired my Dalton covering. Just need to d the hatch and get a couplmore 6-32's for my cowl, and trim my tuner hole for my driver for those little twistie thingies.

    Scuff them, clean them with denatured alcohol, and use Gorilla Glue. Tape them in place and let it sit for 24 hrs.

    I looked at going with a HFE 3W, awhile back. I was not impressed with the HP and RPM values of the size I was looking for Which is why I stayed with carbuerated engines.

    Heavy fuel engine wont turn that RPM. It is about 1K shy of that number. My interest has peaked on that new 110xi. Sad that it is so damned expensive. But it has alot of German engineering behind it. And I will trust what Big G says about that engine over anyone else!

    25 minutes of flight time today, no overheating of the servo and it didnt fail. Didnt start with fully charged packs anyways, so no way to tell if I had an increase of amp draw. Plus, I had a wing servo come unplugged on the outboard right wing. Flowed it anyways!

    Got 3 flights on my 120 today. Need to start tweeking the needles. Really good for 25 minutes of run time. Im happy, so far. Tell tale will be extended time.

    You are better off with the PowerSafe Rx. It is 1 less thing between the batts and Rx. I use nothing but PowerSafe Rx's.
