    Rant......Pre assembled fuel tanks.

Beginner? From what I here when you fly people take notice. We were all beginners at one time. What difference does that make as long as we have fun, learn, and advance our skills. I agree with Yakman, You do better than most in this area.

Inline fuel filter's ? Why. What do you think the filter in your fuel jug and the felt clunk filter in your tank is for. I have never used inline filters and have never, let me repeat that, never had an issue in any glow or gasser I have flown for over 30 years. Inline filters are over kill...

    Rant......Pre assembled fuel tanks.

As I stated in an Earlier post. Tanks are a personal preference. No need to Trash the manufacturer over an inexpensive Item. If you do not like the product don't use it

Memories for sure. The last three we assembled were the Double cab H model Pete's, Tall large volume radiator's with 3408 Cat engines and three axle set ups for Heavy haul Operations, great times, Kinda got off the topic. The twin cabs were great so I could carry planes with me in my travels

I just assembled a 20cc Aero-plus edge 540 v3 from Mile High RC and was very impressed with the quality of the ARF and the assembled AERO-PLUS tank with the metal cap and heavier duty fitting=s and the thinker material. All the hinges are the gray ROBART hinge point hinges, the ball links are...

You can take over for me and a few others Paul. You da man! Rant......Pre assembled fuel tanks.

Tank preference? What ever you like. I prefer the 4titude tanks many of them in all different size Birds and have never had one leak. In fact last year I put new lines in the 16 oz. 4titude tank I have in my 30% Pilot Yak and did not use any new sealant on the cap. I leave the gas in the tank...

When the weather warms up, if it ever does here in the Black hills. I will have to see if the Solo Shot 2 Pro will keep up with a 170 mph quarter 40 pylon racer.

    Titanium gimbals springs

The first thing I do on a new radio is to tighten the spring tension screws as far in as they will go. Then when they start getting weak I install the heavy duty springs LOL!!! just my preference. Having Tough hands from being a Cat Field Tech, I use the High Crowned gimbles, so my thumbs do not...

    Titanium gimbals springs

I have been using the heavy duty springs in all my radio's for years. When flying pylon racers the adrenalin gets to flowing along with the excitement. Being a Big Man with strong hands center is hard to feel. I do not like loose gimbles sticks, some do, just a matter of personal preference. JR...

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I have a 1/4 scale Sig Cub I built over 20 years ago With a Fema onboard starter on an OS 160 Gemini Twin 4stroke I would do deadstick restarts with. While out visiting my Uncle in Renton Washington. We took a few of our planes to an Airshow in Redmond W. at Merrymoore Park and was asked to...

Club 40 Racing? (Yes, I know they're not Giants)

20 to one is the break in mix for the first gallon and then a 32 to one mix after that. They still have the sound of a glow engine, so does the 15. Now I see they have updated the 15 with a V2 and have changed the carb, and are running a pulse line from the crankcase to the carb and got rid of...
