Club 40 Racing? (Yes, I know they're not Giants)

Myself and others in our club have been talking about the EVO 10 gasser and the SkyRaider. The 10 is very comparable to a 46 size glow something to consider FWIW affordable and cheaper than the glow. I still have a couple 6 gallons of Power Master glow Fuel I had been flying My Quarter 40's and...

I do not consider Any ones planes JUNK. We all take pride in what we build and fly. From Peanut scale to Giant scale. You are right about every club having a few that look down their noses about small planes, and we all have the ones that know everything but seldom Fly. We have a couple clubs...

One other top notch flyer I learned some great 3D tips from is Garret Morrison, I met him at the Rally of the Giants at Gillette Wyo. Watching Him torque roll his 150cc Yak just inches off the Deck for over a minute or two was awesome. My 11 ft. Australian Nomad , that I dropped 4 huge...

@stangflyer, Try This next time out. The true Definition of a Rolling Circle ( One complete Roll, in one Complete Circle) 1/4 roll in 1/4 of the circle, same altitude through out, and finish exactly where you started the maneuver. One of the best at this very precise maneuver I had ever seen...

We picked up this method from the Billings Flying Mustangs around ten years ago. On the 35 and 40 centers they were using a long length of soft nylon rope, doubled back around a chain link fence post looped around the wings same thing the Flying Cowboys in Sheridan Wyo. Have been using also. You...

@bigblueswope I neglected to mention the servo in the head is on a separate channel, mixed with the rudder, and is reversible. When I make a low close in Knife edge pass he is looking out the side.Flip a switch and he can clear the airspace to the right and left when taxiing out to the runway...

Here is something I did a couple years ago I thought might be something of interest. I took a Helmet Head Pilot and made his head swivel right and left With the rudder FWIW. I can explain how I did it if there is any interest and the project does not involve much time at all.

The smaller Rifle with the suggested speed set up, will do around 100 to about 120 with the smaller ammo motor. When I fill the need for some real speed I get out one of These. She does around a buck seventy Five. You should see them hide when I get this out. Go fast turn left. LOL !!!

Finished up this smaller rifle, but will need a higher amperage esc. With the larger Ammo motor installed, it is pulling 90 amps at full throttle. Hopefully I can find a nice lite 100 amp esc to stuff in it. With the data I have it should hit somewhere around a buck Fifty WOOOOHAAAA!!!!

We have one of those anal retentive clubs in this area too. They just beat the safety factor to death LOL !!! I stay away from them and never attend any of their events. To many unnecessary rules, so I and many others just do not fly with them at all
