    Thanks!....that'll save lots of time. I was afraid if I retouch those areas with primer, I'd have to wet sand again before color. I plan on shooting the whole plane white, making sure I have good coverage for areas that will remain white.

    Yeah....but still had sticker shock! Primers and clear (Nason) are bad enough, buy the Chromabase colors are ridiculous.

    YEP!!! That is gorgeous! :adore::adore::adore: Question....how do you minimize the paint "lip" buildup against the tape when shooting another color? I know this is somewhat minimized with the clear, and more so when cut & buffed. But are there tricks to helping this when applying the color...

    Not much to show on the Krill lately...:( A friend cut my paint masks for the Castrol Aviator lettering and logos, etc. Some tiny bits of primer touch-ups needed here and there, and then COLOR!!! (Yeah....I know, promises, promises...)

    Hey Bart...it's epoxy paint , mixed 1 to 1...color to catalyst, then reduced to thin for spraying. Using their gloss catalyst it's doesn't need clear coated. This has not been buffed. I much prefer auto base/color systems though. Far easier to work with....and faster.

    Thanks! Got my servos for the Krill. The Futaba's go on the ailerons and rudder (1 each at 1027 oz/in). Savox on elevators (486 oz/in). That outta do the job!...LOL

    Finally finished the last paint job before getting back to MY plane! This is a newly built Godfrey. Paint is KlassKote, which was a learning experience for me. came out fine but really don't care to shoot it again.

    News Joe Nall 2019 thread

    My last Nall was about 6 years ago. When I finish my Krill I'll probably take it Whether i fly it there is immaterial to me. I like flying aerobatic sequences, and ya really can't do much on the main flight line. I'm not a 3D guru at all, so just watching all the rest is good entertainment for me.
