Scale 35% Krill Extra 330SC....CUSTOM-ARF!!!
Finally got the fuse shot in primer....so everything is in primer....YAY!!! The panel details and pinking tape were just what I was looking for. Next up, wet sanding everything to prep for some color!- Pistolera

About 1/2 the Krill is ready for color. Two coats of primer, wet sanded after each. Not much to look at, but getting closer!- Pistolera

Good one! :LOL_gif: Yes....the "sabbatical" is doing a couple of Carden's for friends. Hopefully will be finishing up the current one in a day or so. Meanwhile, I have the Futaba A700 servos for the wings and checking exit slots for the servo arms. Don't wish to have to modify those once...- Pistolera

Auto paint shop. Pretty much all of them have the equipment to scan colors for matching. Although even that sometimes is pretty far off....mostly it's spot on or damn close in my experience. Thanks! I'm still learning. Well it didnt match perfectly....paint was a tad lighter. This is a friend's plane....he took pieces of monokote (ironed onto some balsa) to the paint shop. They scanned it. He and the shop thought it match pretty well, and it is close, but not perfect. In...- Pistolera

They're called Zipwall zippers..... Work great. Also, just added 1 more intake filter on the right side. Plastic was sucking in quite a bit all around. 2nd filter helped more air get in.- Pistolera

Yep...in the 1st pic on the left side note the box with the filter low near the floor. It's connected via cardboard ducting to a box fan in the shop window. High on the right sidewall is the intake air filter. Hoping to get a nice down/side draft. We'll see!- Pistolera

Repurposed an old Christmas tree stand for fuse. Wing in painting rack...rotatable and drying rack on floor. Decided I better figure out how to hold all these peices during the painting/curing process. Will be setting up my paint booth this weekend.- Pistolera
