@Krzy4RC was running these motors in his IMAC plane last season. He may be able to offer some insight for you.

I believe I have become a firm believer in Hacker motors :) I replaced the Exceed RC Monster power 25 870kv in the Mini-Banshee with a Hacker A30-14L V3 and went from 8950 rpm to 10,350! Same prop and freshly charged 4s 45C battery. I also put a Hacker on my daughter's 330LT but, haven't tested...

Yes I am! I love the sound of these cans. I have heard that the Proflow cans choke the 180 down to much on the high end which would be a bad thing. Hope to find out this weekend but, the forecast is not looking good at this point. If it decides to clear up enough for a test flight, I will let...

Finally got the Red 330LX fired up tonight. ZDZ180 on Proflow cans swinging a 29x12EVO 3 blade as a break-in prop :) Have to love the ZDZ engines :) Another short video after a small tweak on the carb.

    News Purple Plug Puller works

I don't usually pick up items like this because I figure the way I am doing it works. Let me tell you that this is one product anyone who owns a gas engine needs! I have probably had mine about a month and was looking at it thinking ok, that will never get used, should have bought something...

They are MPX connectors for the wings. I use them so there is only one plug for each wing. Makes it much easier to assemble/disassemble the plane. Also, keeps you from plugging a servo into the wrong channel :) I have been doing this for the last few large planes that I have built. The...

Finished installing the cb200, dual rx's and remoteswitch in the Red 330 LX tonight. Trying to keep it as clean as possible yet still accessible in case access is needed.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Went out and flew my daughters 61" 3DHS Extra 330LT today. What a blast! That plane flies like a much larger plane than it is. Very little coupling in knife edge flight compared to the 40% 330LX that I fly. Very predictable and just a fun plane to fly. Now I want one

IMAC Carden Pro 124 Build, My Dream Plane

Cam, Sorry to hijack your thread again but, I thought I would post a picture of the grommets and how evenly they are squished under the cf servo spacers when they are used as a securing mechanism :-)

IMAC Double Build, Carden Pro 124" Extra 300 40%

I just installed my wing servos with the cf plates on the top of them and one definite benefit is the rubber grommet does not get all twisted out of shape when tightening the screws down. It also appears that the clamping force is more equally distributed. I will definitely be using these on...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Actually when I was having the issues I contacted Hitec and they sent the amps to me at no cost. I just checked their web site and can't even find them. There is a description, for lack of a better term, HS-Boost on one side and possibly a part number, MHS-2625 on the other side of both of them.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Last night I installed new regulators and 3s lipos in the red 330LX. 2 5000's to the cb200 and one 2700 for the ignition. I never realized that the cb200 had a .4 to .5 voltage drop so the servos were only getting 5.4 volts! They are now getting 6.5 volts :) What a difference in speed 1 volt...
