    Going from low to high throttle doesn't have any effect other than a change in the angle of attack :) I'm going to move the wheel a bit further out from the strut - I'm using 6" Dubro wheels. I keep forgetting to buy Blue Loctite - maybe next time I'm in Wally World....

    Nick, I never did get a ride in a Beaver while in Alaska :( but I like the solid feeling of flying this bird. The 30cc engine is powerful enough so I'm glad I didn't go with my DLE35RA. I am swinging an 18-6 but might change to an 18-8 if I ever tach this bird and see if I can over rev it with...

    First two take-offs were TERRIBLE.....I was all over the runway, but managed to take off both times. First flight ended with a dead stick - with the DLE30 you cannot get to the needles:( and I was a bit on the rich side...so at idle, it quit....no big deal as it quit right over the end of the...

    Ordered another ignition system from VVRC last night....FOUND one ignition cable TODAY, so if the weather holds, I hope to test fly Wednesday.

    No flights today:( Wind conditions: 2-5 MPH right down the runway Weather conditions: 90% blue sky Battery conditions: 100% charged Items forgot: None Reason for not flying: ignition failure! Good spark FROM ignition box.....not when connected to ignition sensor:( Ordered new sensor from VVRC!

    And let's not forget the vendors as they had to have their displays shipped a week or more ago, and now have to pay to have them returned without any sales. Bummer for sure.
