    sorry about the double photos on that post , don't know what I did wrong. anyway, today hopefully will have some if not all hinges done, yesterday I inserted the center sections of the Robart hinges in hot Vaseline ,so the glue wouldn't get to it

    Yes also the back plate, not worried about motor heat because its an electric motor.

    I had to use my tiny inline camera to look inside the wing , I was looking for which wing panel had the hole through the shear web to fit the Pitot tube, worked out nicely

    yes I think most lathes can work with very small pieces, as long the chucks can close to zero, here I posted some of the small pieces for the tail wheel of the Dalotel which is the tiny grease zerts ,

    yes all cable connectors I made on the lathe, the cable tightning screw is brass I simply took an ordinary screw drilled through it for the cable, and turned smooth the big end and knurled , these by the way were on my trusty other laser for 10 years and never had a problem , on this laser...
