Scale 1/4 Scale 148" Shrike Commander
Lets just say I tested half of the 50 lol. The RCGF-26. It ran VERY strong. Ran VERY well. Yes it was hard to start for the first time of the day (Needed a starter) but starts after that came easy by hand. Was able to get the "Avanti Cam" squared away so it will video record with the picture right side up :). Had enough slack in ribbon to flip the lens around. Cut a small notch in the fuse bottom and a little hot glue got it where it needed to be :big-grin:. Did not even have to touch the...- 49dimes

Scale 1/4 Scale 148" Shrike Commander
EME 35 about 21 pounds static thrust with 20x10. But I totally forgot about the RCGF 50T! Angled plugs and only 8.77" inches across plug caps. I personally been wanting one. A bit pricy @420.00 though. But it will produce almost 30 pounds of static thrust with a 20x10 ! I had the single cylinder...- 49dimes

Scale 1/4 Scale 148" Shrike Commander
With a 20x10 or 21x8 prop a well tuned 40 twin should get you 24 pounds of thrust. X2= 48 pounds total. If you hit your goal weight of 45 pounds those twin 40's should be quite sassy!- 49dimes

Actually that outing was only flight 5 and 6 on it. Both flights gave me a total of 4 videos (2 vids each). I think I had inadvertently activated the motion sensor and that is why it made two vids each flight. I am going to have to re-orient (invert) the camera lens so videos record / play...- 49dimes

Spent the afternoon helping my buddy get his P-47 ready for Maiden. Did a bit of programming the radio and final tweek's on the air system and adjustments. Looking really good for an inexpensive ARF. Retracts have no problem pulling up the heavier scale aluminum wheels. Lots of RC goodies get...- 49dimes

Getting things figured out just does not come as easy as it used to.....And I don't know why...…:ooh?:. Forgot to mention the air speed telemetry works great. Hit 118 mph in a dive and 98mph straight and level. Did several touch and goes and lowest landing speed was 20mph. Can cruise easily...- 49dimes
