    PAU Ultimate assembly

Really good looking plane. I was over at my buddies Hobby / Work shop and he was building the new 35% PAU Extra. It looks like they really made a good effort to keep it light but strong. Older PAU designs were pretty chunky.

I’m going out flying thread 2019

@pawnshopmike is going to hook me up with the "Orange" iX12 :). It wont be available until sometime in March though. Once I get it in my grubby fat hands will let you know what I think. Nothing wrong in getting it turn key ready to fly . I just happen to know someone who did the same thing...

    Yippee! What the postman brought

I have that same fuel dot for my Extra. That fuel tank is sweet. Glad to see Pilot upping their game. Man I am very disappointed for you with the BS you got to put up with about the shipping carriers. Hope they make it right for you. I'm in the market for another Pilot Edge for a 70cc engine...

They do. But Horizon "Owns" them now.

Tell me a bit more about the "difficulty" . Is it poorly laid out in programming steps? Spektrum "says" it is supposed to be laid out like any other Spektrum radio but touch screen navigation.

I am looking too now. But I am going to stay with the Spektrum stuff. What you get for the money IMO is what counts the most. DX9 or iX12? Leaning towards the 9 but that 12 has my curiosity up. I can dial up some Fog-Hat "Slow Ride" whilst I take a dirt nap :oops:

    Yippee! What the postman brought

Got some more RC goodies for the 78" Extra in. The new VVRC fuel tanks are nice. The fill line is all metal and goes to the bottom of the tank. Pick up line is backed with an anti flex sleeve and has a fuzzy clunk.

Yes the "Alien" has taken over another person! lol A really nice fella named Roger is the new owner. We did a great "package" ready to fly deal. So I am again in the market for a new radio too. As far as an airframe I will be working on my 78" 50cc Pilot Extra 330sc for now. I will either get...

I’m going out flying thread 2019

This past week end was just fabulous for anything and everything that has wings and a motor :yesss:. I officially christened my 2019 flight log and watched some really cool jets and a 35% Demonstrator do it's thing. Unfortunately I forgot that GoPro's need to get a full charge too :face-palm...

You use an "Elevon" mix with the ailerons using the elevator as the master channel? Looks AWESOME!

When Bama threw a "Pick 6" right of the bat I knew the Tide was rolling back out. They looked like fish out of the water. I thought it would be at least a better "close" game than what we got :(.

I have to whole heartedly agree. Just wish when I met Robert it could have been for a longer period of time and not in a windy cold parking lot looking like I was "fixing a score" :cautious:. lol

Found a cool 12VDC submersible pump suitable for oil, water, diesel and gas service on ebay for less than $15 shipped. Went and built a 5 gallon storage/transfer tank with it. No more spilling gas all over when trying to fill my mower and flight gear. No more lifting a heavy 5 gallon gas can...

Counts only if you went outside and ran around your yard making airplane noise's with your arms stretched out when taking a break from working on your Pinnacle. :laughing:I think Rob would agree:yesss:.

    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

Yep but your best chance of it being in stock is Lowe's or Ace Hardware. It is much lighter than sheet rock mud but not as light as Balsa Rite filler. You could add some micro balloons to the mix and get it like balsa right. It's a vinyl based product and can take many different coatings albeit...
