They are the shizzle of the sizzle . I don't own one personally but my close friend has two. The Large oval smoker and the smaller round grille. We use Royal Oak "lump" wood charcoal and apple wood chips. Both can get juned up over 600 degrees to sear sizzle that 1.5" thick rib eye or...

    Scale Don Smith P-51 Mustang

My friend (who builds a lot) showed me the Elmers wood filler. You can add just a little water to get to "Soft Butter" consistency and the stuff is "balsa colored" and hides easily.

MmmUmm……..Yummy. I could really go for a pulled pork BBQ sandwich on a fresh baked onion roll and some fresh mustard potato salad. Nice quartered Kosher dill slice too with my favorite beverage to help slide it all in :attaboy:.

Another one is on its way. And a new bottle of Blue Thread Locker :face-palm:. I did some destructive testing and investigating of the air frame before bagging it to the trash can. Very thick and sturdy EPO foam molded around solid CF rods in the fuse. The Wings pretty much the same but hollow...

@Snoopy1 Sorry. I could not see it either on the YouTube vid. I can on my computer though so here is a pic of the battery traveling across the ground just before it stops....

Stop the vid and scroll frame by frame. I don't know if the quality on you tube is good enough but you can also change the playback quality to 1080p. The vid was shot in 2.7k And of course use full screen.

If you all watch the vid very closely you can see the battery eject on impact and scoot across the ground. It was a good 10 yards from point of impact. I can hardly believe it but the motor had no dirt or even a scratch on it o_O. And even more amazing I found a piece of the prop deep inside...

Plane flies so well and it's a CAP :). Have not seen anything else I like other than a 60 class built up electric from EF. The foam is more durable for those  a daisies to boot. Ask me how I know this....

It is the V3 78". This is the airframe that started out as a 12S electric (was a lead sled at 16.5 pounds) and I converted it back to a 50cc gasser at 15.25 pounds. I found some pics in this thread. Began flying it about 3 years ago. Now that my Alien Extra sports a DJ72 (Had the rebuilt DL50 in...

Thanks David. I'm a bit disappointed but not like if was a 35center. I really like the plane. Even with keeping what parts are still good it is a very expensive repair (over 300). So a new one is what I will get when the time is right. For now I really need to get busy on the Pilot Extra 330SC.

I think I can get it bent back to like new. Power system and flight control system checked out fine. The one servo missing its servo arm screw...

Are they the newer 90C ? If so let us know how you like 'em. I bet those would get my Avanti S to 120+ mph. Best I got with the HRB 50C 5000's is 116 mph straight and level.
