Been playing with the radio equipment tonight and installed the new Spektrum AX3000 Telemetry sensor on the AR9140T. Pretty cool gismo! Not only is it a gyro that "heading holds" or "stabilizes" it also reads altitude, G-force (all 3 axis) and rate of climb. And it is super small and weighs...- 49dimes

Yes it came from Motion RC. Flight Line P-38. It actually belongs to my buddy but I built it and have flown it quite a bit. It flies great with the Aura 8. Flies decent with the gyro off but can stall easily on landings. Gyro prevents the stall for "Mains only" touch and go's.- 49dimes

Finalized construction of a plane carrier/hold down/wall storage bracket for my Alien Extra fuse. The 24" flat bungee is perfect for keeping just the right amount of tension on the carbon fiber LG so it wont spread away from the metal brackets. Velcro straps the tailwheel in place. The QQ300 was my first full frame foamy after flying nothing but gas for several years (Did fly small flat foams back in the day) and my mind set was just like yours. Now look what it has done to me :rolleyes:….I'm Ruined :ooh?: .- 49dimes

Sorry the vid did not turn out. Maybe turn it around for a departure view? That QQ300 is a hoot to boot and yes I got a GoPro mount on it :D. Easy to hover and fly them. Bunches of fun. I hand launch and recover mine here at the house because of the trees. Only draw back.... it took me two years...- 49dimes

The filter did not have any rpm affect on the DL50 but it does on the DJ72! Both are rear induction carbs. I'm thinking a larger diameter filter or one with say 25% more surface area would probably let it spool up more. But as I said earlier it does not really matter that the 72 is only getting...- 49dimes
